Group Therapy

HHHC Offers Dungeons & Dragons Group Therapy on Zoom

Group therapy in Boston can allow you to meet people who understand some of what you are struggling with, as they are there for the same reasons. It allows you to support one another and learn from each other to achieve your goals.

At Heads Held High Counseling, we bring this collaborative healing approach to the Boston community, understanding that Boston residents have shown tremendous engagement with group therapy programs, with 1,790 Boston-based participants taking part in the city's Weaving Well-being group therapy program in 2023

Currently, we offer a Therapeutic Gaming Group, as a therapeutic twist on Dungeons and Dragons. You will create your own character utilizing roleplaying and storytelling to address therapeutic goals. This 8 week group is led by John Mayo, a Certified Therapeutic Game Master. Located conveniently near Boston Common and the Freedom Trail, our group sessions provide a unique therapeutic experience for Boston area residents.

If you are interested in being a part of this group, please contact us to be put in touch with John for a free 15-minute consultation call! Join fellow Boston residents in this innovative approach to healing, conveniently located near Fenway Park and the Boston Public Library.
