Skye Walker, LCSW (she/they) (MA)

Skye, a Massachusetts-based LCSW and proud member of the LGBTQIA+ community, offers a unique blend of professional expertise and personal empathy. Having earned their Master of Social Work from Simmons University, they bring a rich understanding of the therapeutic process, particularly attuned to the needs of the queer community and those facing mental health challenges like anxiety, depression, and trauma. Skye specializes in working with a broad demographic, from adolescents in high school to adults, employing a range of therapeutic approaches including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Strengths-Based counseling, Motivational Interviewing, and relational work.

Skye's therapy sessions are characterized by an inclusive, affirming space where clients are encouraged to explore their identities and experiences freely. Skye's background in working with diverse populations, from children and young adults to individuals in private practice settings, has equipped her with the skills to adapt therapy to each client's needs, fostering resilience and personal growth.

Outside the professional realm, Skye's interests in travel, cinema, board games, and circus arts reflect their belief in the importance of balance, creativity, and physical well-being in mental health. These hobbies not only enrich Skye's life but also provide a relatable ground for connecting with clients, making therapy a more engaging and holistic journey.

Skye offers telehealth services across Massachusetts and accepts Blue Cross Blue Shield, Tufts (Commercial), Aetna and Cigna insurances. Otherwise, she currently charges $200 for the initial intake session and $175 for every individual session, as well as offers support with out of network reimbursement.
