A Little About Vinny

Vincent is a lifelong learner, drawn to clinical work by a deep passion for supporting people—especially queer, non-binary, and gender-expansive individuals—as they navigate their personal journeys. On the weekend they enjoy going out to drag shows or concerts and watching horror movies with friends. With a background in neuroscience and research, Vincent shifted toward social work after realizing that healing happens most powerfully through connection, compared to the studies in the lab. As a Latino non-binary, queer person, Vincent is passionate about creating spaces where clients can show up as their full, authentic selves—without apology, judgment, or the need to explain.

Vincent is currently in their second year of pursuing a Master of Social Work at Boston University, where they are honing their clinical skills and deepening their commitment to social justice-centered practice. They also have direct crisis support experience through their work on The Trevor Project’s suicide prevention and crisis hotline, where they provided affirming, empathetic support to LGBTQIA+ individuals in moments of acute distress. These experiences shape Vincent’s belief in the transformative power of compassionate listening and community care.

In the therapy room, Vincent’s style is relational, grounded, and affirming. Sessions with Vincent feel like conversations with a trusted partner in growth: compassionate, curious, and supportive of your unique path. They are committed to making therapy accessible and understandable, especially for those who may not have grown up seeing their identities or experiences reflected in the real world. Whether you are navigating family dynamics, exploring your gender identity, building resilience, or working through past trauma, Vincent believes in honoring your story while helping you build the tools and confidence to move forward.
