Madison Detwiler (she/her) (MA)

Madison Detwiler (she/her) is pre-licensed clinician working towards her LMHC licensure. She has a
passion for working with queer and neurodivergent individuals as well as family systems.


Madison has a person-centered approach and incorporates different theories into her work
based upon the individual’s needs. She believes that therapy is an enjoyable experience where
humor and sarcasm are welcome in the room. Madison uses a trauma-informed lens and
creates a safe, accepting space for individuals to explore their past, present, and future. She is
also known to be direct and challenge her clients to break through patterns that are identified.
Madison is trained in EMDR, AutPlay, and play therapy. She often uses strategies from emotion-
focused therapy (EFT), cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), and dialectical behavioral therapy
(DBT).


Madison is devoted to multicultural competency and understands the barriers that members of
our society face. Her goal is to facilitate the change that her clients want to see. Madison also
provides recourses and education to better equip individuals with the tools they need to live a
healthy life. Madison will collaborate with you to create individual goals for treatment. She always asks for
feedback and wants to make sure that you feel you are making progress towards your goals.


Madison offers telehealth services across Massachusetts and accepts Blue Cross Blue Shield, Tufts, Aetna, Optum (United Healthcare and Mass Brigham) and Cigna insurances. Otherwise, she currently charges $200 for the initial intake session and $175 for every individual session, as well as offers support with out of network reimbursement.
